Computer says bottle empty…
What do you think you’re doing
Mystery boxes have reached the spirits market… Awful.
Is something like that even legal in Germany?
It’s been there for a while anyway, so I don’t see it as that tragic. ![]()
You don’t have to buy it, after all
Then go ahead and buy the expensive one and write about what’s inside ![]()
Why should I, I never said I think it’s a good concept, just that nobody has to buy it. That’s called free market economy

We’ve all bought mystery bottles at some point, right? ![]()

I mean there was an indie from NL who once sold mystery boxes at the trade fair in Nuremberg, but I can’t remember who. Anyway, it wasn’t a SWAT raid @Leo, so everything’s cool ![]()
Mystery Box Split - now!!!
yeah, they’ve had that in their lineup pretty easily for two years now. The mystery box for €900 is definitely quite ambitious though
I don’t think the concept is really that far off from advent calendars or those ‘subscription things’ like Whic for example, where samples come every month for an amount X…
That’s certainly a nice result and confirmation of one’s own expertise.
Yeah, you’re definitely a bit ‘proud’ then ![]()
Can be pre-ordered from Sunday onwards, but it’s another Swell Fans bottling. Both are bottlings from Ladevéze, one a Plant de Graisse 2007 and the other an Ugni Blanc from 2009. The Ugni Blanc is really unique and we named it Fraise right away. An Armagnac that smells and tastes so intensely of strawberries and immediately reminded us of a Savanna HERR. If anyone is interested in a set, feel free to contact me. The set is €115.
