Splitting a bottle is the cheapest way to taste a rum before committing to a full bottle. Organise a split, look for one to join, or post samples you want to trade. This is the community companion to the RumX app marketplace.

„Is this rum worth the price?“. „Looking for a Hampden under €80”. „Three bottles to start a Demerara collection". Post the bottle, the price, and what you actually want to know. The community has tasted thousands of rums between us, including most of the rare ones. For bottles already in the RumX app, link the rum profile so people can see ratings and prior reviews.

All things rum cocktails, from the classics (Daiquiri, Mai Tai, Cuba Libre, Old Fashioned) to your own experiments. Structured threads exist for each major cocktail family, plus syrups, ice, bitters, tiki, and home-bar setups. Use them so recipes stay findable instead of getting lost in one giant thread. Country and region threads: Jamaica, Guyana, Martinique, Cuba, Mauritius, Réunion, the new Asian distilleries, the small Caribbean independents you have never heard of. Use this to ask „what defines a rum from X" or to share a distillery visit. For specific bottles you just opened, the General flagship threads are usually faster.
