Which Velier Caroni bottling is the dirtiest?

I have a question for those of you who have tried a wide range of Caroni bottlings, including those featured in the Velier Epic Caroni Tasting.

Among the many Velier Caroni bottlings, which one did you find to be the dirtiest?

I’m looking for a profile that is more industrial, with intense tar and rubber notes, rather than tropical fruit.

I’ve read quite a few reviews on RumX, and Giuseppe Begnoni’s 1996 vintage seems to be one of the dirtiest to me. I’d love to hear what others think!

It doesn’t have to be a Velier bottling, either!

Best if relatively freshly opened, otherwise they become too round.

could have also called it the '94 Guyana Stock. On the palate, also brutally charred barrel.

You can try the Caroni «the beast #3» sometime. This series from S.B.S is really intense and you’ll find plenty of tar in there
