Das Problem ist doch: je länger ein Stau existiert, desto mehr Rums werden doppelt und dreifach angelegt. Dadurch wird das Problem nicht unbedingt geringer…

Admiral Rodney Extra Old
I have one bottle of it in my collection.
Some says that this is the same rum as RX140, but it ain’t according to Dave Marsland, former ambassador for SLD, which he writes in his book “Saint Lucia a sugarcane and rum history” at page 124-125.
Even if it should have been I think it should be verified cause it’s the first released Admiral Rodney and is a collectible release hard to find today.
Mount Gay Silver Smooth & Refined
It may be the same rum as RX6859, but our guide at Mount Gay told us that it was their new release of their Silver rum when I tasted it during a visit January 2026.
Carrere Montebello RAID Antilles Guyane 2013
I have two bottles of this rum in my collection.
Some might say that this is the same rum as RX12447, but it ain’t. I thought so too, so therefore I asked my friend Paul Timon, ambassador for Montebello, and he says that it’s not the same rum cause they come from different barrels.

I tasted this rum at this rather new distillery in Barbados during my visit there January 2026. Hopewell distillery is a distillery founded by Perkins & Sons, an old Barbadian family and independent bottler in the spirit business.

Old Mill is the rum produced for longest time by the independent bottler Perkins & Sons.

This one shouldn’t be confused with RX13324 which is a much older bottling named “Grand Cru” in a 70cl bottle even if it looks like a magnum bottle.

Domaine Ricci - Distillerie Baptiste rhum vieux
This one was showcased at RFP 2026, it’s a limited release of 100 bottles of a French distillery opened in 2016 and closed in 2023.
Habitation velier rainforest 2024
There is another from last year, however these are 2 different bottlings. RX25074 is a 14 months rum bottled at 62% in 2025. The new one is 20 months and bottled at 58% in 2026.
Ferrer rhum Jamaïque (collection origine)
This one was left out when all rums from Ferrer were added. It’s a 3-8 years old bottled at 49%.
