Luckily, I managed to get my hands on one, and wow!

Yes, absolutely. You can really distinguish them and experience their interplay.
In some sips, you taste the Caroni more clearly, while in others, the DDL suddenly comes more prominently.
Personally, I generally start with light notes of Caroni. This quickly transitions to the typical TDL and Hampden bite. Then it ends with a warm, sweet DDL and, again, a hint of Caroni.
The TDL and Hampden always sit hand-in-hand in the middle for me. The Caroni and DDL always plays around them.
I think if you didn’t know the blend beforehand, you could pick them out one by one.

Habe ich das richtig in Erinnerung, das dieses Jahr noch NY 2005 Abfüllungen kommen? Bottleshop und Whisky Jury? Bin gespannt…. Wirkt alles grad ein wenig wie die Ruhe vor dem Sturm

Rum aus Kap Verden. Im Prinzip wie ein Rhum Agricole, nicht besonders gut, nicht besonders schlecht.
