At least in terms of age, I’m more inclined to believe this statement:

An 18-year-old rum and then a merchandise markup on top of that would be much more expensive than the original €70. A maximum of 8 years and probably sweetened fits much better.
And at €10, it’s also a bargain. If I were a fan of the band, I’d go for it.

The bottler itself speaks of 18 years:
I would guess that the 8 years is the maturation in Guyana and the rest of the time was spent in Europe.
According to the (EU-recognized) rules in Guyana, the age statement is determined by the youngest component.

The finish in “teakwood leaguers” suggests that the stuff was stored at E&A Scheer in Amsterdam. Leaguers are ~575–600l casks that were historically used especially for arrack.

When I saw the fresh deal 2 days ago, 897 bottles could still be added to the cart, now it’s only 307.
I wouldn’t expect fast shipping, the store has hundreds of bottles to ship starting tomorrow. Even if the sales pace for the rum has slowed down now, I wouldn’t count on anyone here having a chance to taste it before it’s all gone.
The sell-off has probably been going on since the 27th.
