Hampden finished in a NY cask? Not sure if that changes the profile enough to be worth the efforts, what would be the reason for this?

It’s Just Something different. I think with more and more Independent bottlers offering similar stuff its getting more difficult to separate from others despite of Marketing with fancy bottles or packages with animals, etc.
So they try to get some individual Expression through the Finish. At least they can tell of Something new or Special. We’ll See how it works out in the Taste.

Also a 2008 vintage like the Kirsch, but 100% Column Still. Would be interesting for a split, wouldn’t it?

Nach meinem Umzug fehlt mir leider noch die Infrastruktur für Splits. Küche etc. ist noch nicht fertig.

hatte auch immer verstanden, dass CC nicht nach DE liefert (und es nach einem gescheiterten Versuch vor längerer Zeit dann aufgegeben). Könnte nicht @Tom helfen? Würde den nämlich auch gerne probieren
