Den fand ich von allen neu raus kommenden Blends her am besten und sehr gelungen. Der Rest hat mich nicht abgeholt. Meine tasting notes von damals ohne Hintergrund wissen. Muss ich nochmal probieren…
Sirene: Really well-made blend! My nose says Venezuela, Nicaragua, or Belize, maybe even a hint of Barbados. In terms of taste, I’d go for Venezuela. Very delicious and balanced. Dark chocolate, mocha, and coffee, intense oak notes, nicely dry and barely sweet, plum and raisin, cinnamon, and cloves. Very pleasant and a great easy sipper that’s easy to get started with but still sufficiently complex.

Stimmt, da war ja was… außer bei 88bamboo hab ich vom HERR nicht viel mitbekommen. Den Mhoba gibt es ja schon, wenn auch mit drastisch weniger Congenern als auf dem dort veröffentlichten Etikett. Wo bleibt der HERR? Auf dem Edikett ebenfalls 700ml (also kein US Release) und heißt Savanna… Umbenennung in Rainforest wäre äußerst ungewöhnlich. Würde ja heißen Savanna entzieht Namensrechte – ausgerechnet bei Velier!?
