I read something about the release being limited to just over 5000 bottles.

That would even be quite a decent number for the Master Blender Collection. This gives hope that the price will be reasonable.
Andean Oak had only 2760 bottles, Madeira Cask only 2706.

Der Karton vom Caroni sagt mir, daß die Flasche 1.200 € kosten wird.

Das ist bestimmt nur schlecht übersetzt aber klingt wie “auch wenn es keine gute Qualität ist - sondern nur alt - wir ziehen euch das Geld trotzdem aus der Tasche”
