âŠaccording to excellencerhum. I havenât seen any âofficialâ numbers and Iâm not sure how trustworthy that information is. They declare 2400 bottles of the Hampden Great House 2021, also a number that I could not find any second source on.
The Vieux Sajous 2nd is a blend from 12 barrels. So that gives you 12*200 litres = 2400litres = 3.428 bottels Ă 0,7l as upper boundary.
Edit: 1.200 bottles for the Sherry Cask is also stated by LMDW in their âconquĂȘteâ page:
HaĂŻti, Pure Cane Juice Rum â 50.6%, 70cl
Sherry Cask
Limited edition of 1200 bottles
LMDW Exclusive
Same goes for the Hampden Great House 2021. So I guess that is the source for the numbers that excellencerhum is giving.
It is quite rare. I think rum-depot also has an ID based process like this. Most shops just make you tick a box or put in your birth date to confirm that youâre of legal drinking age. However, when you create an account, the verification is saved so you only need to do it once.
If you donât have an account and youâre in a hurry for a rare bottle and/or donât have your ID at hand â thatâs pretty much game over
My seller have a Velier Clairin vieux sajou in stock at normal price (around 80âŹ) if someone is interested. He told me he will have the next aged clairin(s). I think I will do a split on it/them (I donât know exactly how many are coming out). Iâll let you know.
