it’s quite nice to have them sitting next to each other and we all know that you can’t have your cake and eat it too, but those who know me know that it’s going to be emptied. But there is too much, so depending on how things go some might be sold in future or not.

Schade das die Verpackung kaputt war, wundert mich bei Distilia Shop bzw. whiskymarket.com. War ganz lieblos als kaputte flache Kartonage dabei….Naja er wird ja sowieso aufgeteilt….

Indeed. Do not be surprised if it tastes meaty or even foul. That’s expected. If you don’t like the initial taste, fill half of the bottle in another empty bottle and let both sit on the shelf. Wait 6 months and start checking every 2 months if it improves. Oxidation is said to work wonders on this one. Patience is key.
