My name is Nicolas, I live in the south of France, near Toulouse, for those in the know.
I’ve been reading your posts since 2022 and thought it was about time to say hello.
I got into rum a long time ago and discovered RX by chance, when I was looking for a rum rating and recommendation app (like Vivino for wine).
I really wasn’t disappointed by this discovery; RX has become my favourite app, and I’ve learnt so much about the world of rum.
As a true Frenchman, I only drank agricole rum, but RX introduced me to Jamaican rum (what a shock)!
My favourite: Hampden HLCF Classic (RX11980).
I find this community exceptional and I haven’t given up hope of finding members within 200km of where I live .
The new features are increasingly innovative. Although, from my point of view, some delivery charges aren’t always right or some promotions have ended, the recommendations are always spot on and there are discoveries to be made in the corners of each page. I haven’t taken RX+ yet, but it won’t be long now.
My next goal would be to discover Caroni rum (perhaps another shock !).

On est pas tout prêts mais peut être se croisera-t-on sur un évènement rhumesque, qui sait?
Pour le caroni, verse toi du rhum à 65°/70°dans une bouteille (plastique de préférence), puis découpe un bout de pneu que tu laisseras infuser quelque temps (la chambre à air est acceptée pour un profil LTR au lieu de HTR). Enfin, rajoute un peu d’arome de brulé et le tour est joué!
Sinon découvre les rhums sombres du Guyana, c’est vraiment très sympa! (les enmore 2006 restent abordables, les enmore 94 sont très bien.)
