the new one is slightly different (i.e. larger) format than the ones, I had in the 2010s but I enjoyed this one also very much

Ok, a Pineau isn’t a rum, but the color here really reminds you of one. Does that count? In any case, thanks for the split to @BananaJoe

As an accompaniment, I chose a La Flor de Cano - Petit Coronas from 2019. This very mild cigar pairs nicely with the delicate aromas of the Pineau.

But I’ll probably also try pairing it with a stronger cigar sometime.
