What kind of Willett are you talkin?

What I can get is Jack Daniels Single Barrel Rye Barrel Proof from the legendary Coyhill Warehouse.
This stuff is amazing! €99 per bottle
For me, the JD Rye are in a category of their own. At first I was super skeptical because of JD, but today I’m looking for them everywhere and finally managed to find a source

I already have that. That’s my bottle in the photo. The question was just whether there’s something comparable in Germany.
If I understood correctly, you’re asking whether there’s anything in the direction of rye whiskey also produced in Germany (vs. Willet available in DE, which I apparently misunderstood)…
The universally beloved Feller has some fine rye whiskies in his range
for example
In Austria there’s a distillery that has been dedicated to rye since the 1990s, but when you’re called Roggenhof and based in Roggenreith, that kind of makes sense.

Thank you very much for the tips. The one from Feller sounds interesting. My question was simply whether there is a Rye available here in Germany — not one that was produced here — that is comparable to the Willett. But all good. I would be more than happy with the Jack if that happens!

The WILLETT Rye at a young age tends to be smooth and mellow. So far, I haven’t had one up to max 7 years old that was wild and dirty — that’s when Willett gradually starts to get that way with elevated age. Then you get crazy notes like cedarwood and Swiss stone pine.
If you’re looking for something like that, it gets really difficult outside of Willett. Most ryes out there don’t have that.
For me, »beyond« the typical rye style — e.g. Penelope Toasted Rye, Wilderness Trail Rye, Knob Creek Rye, Old Overholt etc. — there are only these options for »more power« in the glass:

Peerless Rye Single Barrel Barrel Proof
Jack Daniels Rye Single Barrel Barrel Proof
Michter’s Rye, 55 ABV
