Hab mir sagen lassen Nobilis kauft seine Fässer von 1423. Wenn es dann doch mal die erste reine DHE Abfüllung gibt wird es spannender.

Does not look like it. It says DHE and PM. And the next line states that it is blended it the cask. So it should be more or less the same as the 1423. Which is very tasty.

This Amparo is nice stuff, but at almost 60 euros for unaged I would buy something else.

This is why i said it will get interessting when they get a cask from Guyana with only the DHE part. As i remeber they are not willing to give it away for now.

You are right, that is the big one we are waiting for. For as much as I liked the DHE/PM the real question is how DHE holds it own.
We will most likely not find out any time soon. Our best option might be to go to Guyana and chain ourselves to the gate of DDL and promise not to leave before we get to taste it.

that‘s what I read, too, in an interview with Joshua Singh. DDL is not giving it away in its pure form. Probably the ester levels are too extreme. In his new book, Matt Pietrek states that the DHE produces ester levels of up to 7000 gr/hlAA.

Ja und nein, ist der LMDW “New Vibrations”. Gibt glaub 2 Chairman’s in der Kollektion, aber irgendwie sind die Chairman’s für LMDW unverhältnismäßig teuer, war bei dem Antipodes auch schon so

Danke! Der TDL klingt schwierig.
Die Lagerung fand komplett kontinental in 2 Fässern statt, die zuvor mit Armagnac und Cognac vorbelegt waren und zu gleichen Teilen miteinander vermählt wurden. Anschließend folgte noch ein knapp einjähriges Finish in einem Ruby-Port-Fass. Eine sehr ungewöhnliche Kombination von Fässern und Finish, die mich aber total anspricht. Der Rum wurde in Fassstärke mit 46,5% abgefüllt.
