How does it taste if I don’t really like champagne? Also which champagne do you use?

Ein wunderbarer Rum, der die Aromenkomposition des Geruchs im Mund stringent weiterführt und dabei mit überreifen Beerenfrüchten (wobei hier Erdbeere besonders hervorsticht), vergorenen tropischen Früchten und feinen Fassnoten mit einer Mischung aus Leder, Pfeifentabak, Kakao und Gewürzen wie Vanille, Tonkabohne und Zimt zu bezaubern versteht.
Ich würde hier auf einen Savanna-Blend mit merklichem HERR (die Erdbeere)- oder Grand Arome (die Olive in Salzlake des Nachgeschmacks)-Anteil oder mit beidem tippen. Beim Abgang ist kaum Alkohol zu erkennen, aber der Aromendruck im Mund ist so hoch, dass ich den Rum auf ca. 55% schätze. Auf jeden Fall ein extrem köstlicher Tropfen!

I don’t really like champagne either. And I use so little of it that I don’t really care about the champagne or whatever I’m using. I usually go with the Cremant Grande Cuvee 1531 from Aimery but am also fine with using whatever floats around, this time it was a Cremant Rose.
It adds a bit of freshness and fruitiness but the drink in itself is great no matter if you like champagne or not. Consider just getting a small bottle of champagne or whatever is available from the supermarket as you are only using minuscule amounts of it.

I have no idea to be honest. First evening it hurtled, two days later I could barely walk.
And the rums: I’m not trying to guess what they are, only deciding which one(s) I like more and why.
Number 2 is losing so far

Final verdict of the first round.
Last place for number 14
Third place number 24
Second place number 7
First place number 16
On the nose number 16 is the clear winner for me. First impression I had a sherry note evolving to bourbon then going dirty and finally fruity
On the palate the fruity profile of number 7 is seductive as well, but I feel that it also has a tiny bitter note from the alcohol.
I think that all four are mainly continentally aged (due to color). Especially number 7 given it’s from 1999 and seeing the color. It reminds me of a Cadenhead’s TDL that I’ve tasted quite a while ago, somehow with some “elegance” to it.
14 needs A LOT of time (2 hrs later) to open up, the fruity part of it is only coming forward now. It also somehow reminds me of bourbon/whisky in the profile.
24 has that “tabacco sigar vibe” that I often associate with stuff from Panama, but in the finish more dark fruits.
16 is the most diverse.
Very surprising to find out that my first impression from smelling the bottles gets confirmed in the blind tasting.
Babli’s favorite is number 16 as well, but she can’t explain it as much
