Habe leider auch 1100,- dafür bezahlt, somit doch vierstellig. Zur Zeit ist es mir für einen Split noch zu heiß, da werden die Packete schon mal überhitzt. Da ich aber schon etwas in Vorbereitung habe, kann ich den Quincentennial mit dazu packen eventuell läuft er ja doch.
I thought you were joking, but there actually is a 4-digit Don Papa which is unironically reviewed as the best thing ever drunk by some, with a higher personal rating than Avarice or ED Albion for example.
In my head this can’t be anything else than a regular Don Papa port cask brought to 50% to lean into the ‘quincentennial’ marketing-bs, and sunk cost fallacy.

Ich hab sie für 1100 gekauft und das ist auch mein Split Preis. Könnte sie natürlich auch am Stück verkaufen. Nur dann hab ich selbst wieder nichts zum probieren.

Verdict: what a great rum! Dark, fruity, spicy, with both nice esters and a more earthy and meaty touch of leather and coffee. Very complex.

Sogar schon im Bauch. Diamond 1981 füllen wir gleich ins Glas während der Essenspause, damit der genug Zeit hat.
