Der Clarendon 1997 ist auf 70cl gerecht ja fast günstig als eher seltener Jahrgang. Der Rum Sponge lag doch bei 377€?

Auf jeden Fall liegen die alle preislich super, und die Auswahl von Aficionados ist normalerweise auch gut. Kann man eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen

@zabo, wäre bei einem Split auch gern dabei.

Bin gerade begeistert von dieser Flaschengröße, das ist doch geldbeutelschonend!
Mal ehrlich: Wer braucht schon immer eine ganze 70cl-Flasche von einem Rum, den er auch trinken will? Meistens kauft man so was dann (vielleicht zähneknirschend) doch, hat aber gleich ein Loch ins Budget gerissen.
Hier, bei diesem Angebot von Fine Drams, bekommt man gleich 4 verschiedene Rums zum Preis von zwei Standardflaschen! Also ich bin mir sicher, das Konzept wird aufgehen. Ich wünschte es mir jedenfalls.

The Aficionados Cask Picks were amazing so far. I know mostly their Cognac and Armagnac, but the rums should be very good as well. The EMB 97 is a real bang for the buck. It is 22 years aged in the tropics, so probably from the same stock as the Begnoni and Rum Sponge. Strange, that it is still available at such a price… (even tough the bottler is rather unknown to Rum Nerds, but still :)).

I completely agree. I try to sell samples of most of the bottles that I open since 70cl are mostly too much for just myself.

Totally agree. I find this 35cl concept very interesting. It’s cheaper (absolutely, not relatively - but the clarendon is also relatively cheaper ), and more people can take a bottle! Good idea!

Versandkosten eingerechnet dann auch eher nicht aber egal. Hauptsache volle Ester Ladung in diesem Fall.
