Dann ist es an der Zeit… Die Serie zu sammeln damit wir sie alle haben :saluting_face::saluting_face::saluting_face:… Oder auch nicht :sweat_smile:. Ich wiederhole mich bei dem Thema.. der 50th ist ein toller Blend, auch für den damaligen Preis von 129€. Den 2021 fand ich noch spannend, da anders mit neuen Anteilen. Danach wurde die Abfüllung irgendwie belanglos.

Ich kenne ihn noch gar nicht. Das Rum Depot hatte so ne Aktion, dass unter den Käufern eines Black Tot ein Special Release Black Tot verlost wird. Hab mir den als Strand-Rum für den Griechenland-Urlaub bestellt.

Sehe ich auch so. Kaufen würde ich nur noch den 50th um die 110€ die ich damals gezahlt habe. Die Nachfolger sind da leider für meinen Geschmack nicht mehr herangekommen.

well, the won auction bids of the last months, I just opened the boxes today. It’s going to be almost the end of my rum journey when it comes to purchases.

As I am expecting another bottle of the CH 1964 at 73,3% from a collector, I am very likely going to split one bottle at the average price (20cl personal share, 20cl private share, 30cl community share of which I have reserved 2cl each @zabo @Rumurmel @svwrwe). No more reservations yet, only after split is live. 2cl will go to the charity split I failed to do last year, apologies.

don’t get me wrong, but aren’t they looking good? This is what I had in mind as personal goal. Demerara rum is, as I mentioned before, a very aggressive stuff, that not only pushes out other rums from the shelf but also makes you lose your mind and destroys your wallet.

That looks almost unreal but it is beautiful. Great that you can finish your Journey as a Rum collector. I am happy for you. I always thought, once a collector, always a collector. The need to collect stuff ist just so strong :sweat_smile::hugs:. Will be interessting to see if and when the thrill comes back over time or lives on with a new topic.

For me it is my vinyl collection which is more important to me at the moment.

many thanks, I am not into vinyl at all but a friend is and has of course a high end player and the peripheral stuff and I have to say it’s amazing to listen to these recordings, a glas rum mybe in your hand. So I feel you. How lucky we are.
