Any recommendations for mixing with Savanna 57 Lontan or HERR? I‘ve had both bottles for a while and don‘t enjoy them much as sipping rums. I also don‘t care for either in a daquiri. Any tips would be much appreciated!

The white HERR goes very well with red fruits. Cherry and raspberry.
You can do something like a mai tai variation :
Lime
Raspberry syrup
Falernum
Rhum
Or with falernum syrup & cherry liqueur…
You can try lot of variations as long as you maintain the balance

I second the part about the red fruits, and HERR, works well with strawberry as well!
I’ve used white Savanna rums in loads of things throughout the years, but it’s indeed a matter of balancing the sours and sweets and where your own preferences are situated.
I’ve tasted a couple of nice things that had a base of cold tea in which they used Savanna, but I can’t give you any recipe.
You can also blend them with other rums in a daiquiri if you find their profile too overpowering.
