The idea is sourced from False Idol’s signature cocktail, but rebalanced by myself to a single serving, itensifying the components and better serving modern palates. Last year I served this as a secret menu item, successfully, and the recipe stuck.

Alkala, the Fierce

• 22,5 ml Smith & Cross
• 22,5 ml Plantation Original Dark
• 22,5 ml Bourbon (I used Heaven Hill)
• 11,25 ml Allspice Liqueur
• 15 ml Orgeat
• 7,5 ml Cinnamon syrup
• 22,5 ml Orange juice acid-adjusted to lemon acidity
• 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
• 8 drops Pastis
• 5 drops 20% saline solution
• Serve over crushed ice and garnish with plenty of mint

Excellent showing in a Mai Tai as well. Way less punchy versus the Cambridge STC*Es, yet very balanced and fruity
