@LukaZiga @KevinDK Got it. And this time it’s the real fix, not another patch. ![]()
Here’s what was actually happening: every like and reaction is stored safely, the list of who liked something never got lost. But the total number shown on each tasting was kept by a separate counter that updated itself every time someone liked or unliked. Once in a while that little counter ran twice for the same action and subtracted one too many. Tiny each time, but on older tastings with lots of activity it added up, and it always leaned downwards. That’s why your real likes “came back” whenever you refreshed: the underlying data was fine, only the counter had drifted.
My earlier fixes reduced how often it happened but didn’t kill the cause. This one does: the counter can no longer count the same action twice.
On top of that, I just recalculated and rebuilt every single counter across all accounts from the original like data, so everyone’s totals are correct again, not just from here on. Aleš, your number should be back where it belongs. ![]()
If anyone still sees a total slipping over the next couple of weeks, shout, but it should be done for good now.
And @arssallan, safe to like Aleš again. ![]()
