I had really fun weekend at Berlin. It was really nice to meet some of you RumX users down there and i also want to mention two guys from Rotterdam who are part of Dutch rum society, it really nice to meet you too!
Bottleshop had the best selection and because of that, i think this was the place where all rum geeks were gathering.
Warehouse#1: Great rum punch. Unfortunately you sold out your rums way too fast.
Kirch Import: They had two Mhoba’s on their booth, but they were quickly sold out andni didnt get a chance to try them. Next time bring a bigger stock of Mhoba’s, ok?
Big thanks to The Grape of the art booth, i had my first tasting of armagnac on saturday. Thanks for the guidance and samples.
I liked all the three tasting classes(Vagabond, Colours of Rum and How to make high ester rum lecture)that i participated. Vagabond was my favorite, because i really liked how they showcased different rum casks influence on rums.
I also noticed that the organisers had removed the benches out from the indoors area and it would have been nice to have indoor sitting area.
Favorite rum on saturday was Honey Batcher Guadeloupe and i bought the bottle on sunday. Btw. Hopefully the guy who was at the Honey Batcher booth no longer has a hangover![]()
Favorite rum on sunday was Schotman Port Mourant 14 and would have bought it, but they only had a sample, because their
bottlelabels werent ready yet. Have to wait for the release then.
