I just got back home from the Silicon Valley. Back to the usual after 9 days without cigars and spirits. It’s crazy to see how much the higher end steak houses there charge for a glass Hennessy or Remy Martin XO.

enjoy! I was just 2 weeks around Arizona, NV, UT and agree. Excellent food, if not to say mind blowing in Vegas, but prices are crazy and good spirits a challenge at acceptable prices. Countryside it’s better to cook by yourself.

Irgendwie macht mich dieses Forum noch ärmer als ich es schon bin. Immer wieder diese neuen sehr alten Abfüllungen auf Plattformen die dann noch andere sehr alte Abfüllungen anbieten…ich muß aufhören sowas zu lesen
…oder sollte ich meine Kreditkarte doch bei meiner Frau abgeben, bevor ich in dem Forum was lese???

erinnert mich an einen Witz. Ein Freund berichtete, dass seiner Frau mitten in der Innenstadt die Handtasche nebst Portemonnaie und allen Kreditkarten gestohlen wurde. Ich fragte gleich, ob er sich sofort um die Sperrung der Karten gekümmert habe. Er sagte nein! Bist Du verrückt, der Dieb gibt weniger aus als meine Frau.

November is the month I spent the most due to all the promotions. Cognac Expert started their Black Friday and there are discounts on almost everything. Here’s a link to the Pasquet section, Arlette (one of my WL highlights) is discounted by 17% which is pretty much given that it’s a new release.

Back home and got to open the Lous Pibous 1994. Pretty good. Not the be all end all Armagnac for me, but still pretty pretty good.

For this particular one, I would say so, yes. I think I like my 1987 del Cassou still a bit more, especially at the crazy price I got it from LMDW, but this Lous Pibous is really nice. Can’t speak for other Lous Pibous though, I’m no expert in Armagnac.
