Was sind die besten Tasting-Gläser, um Rum pur zu genießen?

Is yours the original 1920s or the Ali-Version?

The Ali, it feels pretty light compared to the other ones.

The 1920 looks like the OG Version and not like the China-Version to me, tbh :face_with_monocle:

Stem looks as thick as the 1948 Elephant. The China one has a noticable thinner stem and the foot is also much “flatter” and less flared… at least the current version – they might have changed some things.

No idea tbh, I got it from the link shared by @mto75 :

Ok, that explains it. There are different Versions on Ali, as discussed above. The Crison Version is even more delicate.

well, with the „stinging“ abv while smelling at the 1920 glass especially one recommendation. You never sniff the rum or put the nose in the glass, swing the glass left to right passing by your nose. The rum comes to you, not you to the rum. My learning from tasting sessions with blenders

Crison is my favorit as “1920s shape”

What I meant is, compared to the other glasses it funnels alcohol more so you have to be extra careful. Unlike with the Neat glass, this one is quite safe

I fully agree, the 1920s has a tendency to intensify aromas and particularly ABV, which makes it sometimes unpleasant on high ABV rums
