@BananaJoe thank you so much ![]()
Quick update: I’m supposed to send the bottle back now and they’ll send me a new one. But since it’s sold out, I’m assuming they’ll just put a label on my bottle and send it back to me. If the bottle were for my collection, I’d do it that way. What do you think—should we take the risk and I share the bottle as is, or should I send it back—with the risk that I’ll get the same bottle back anyway or maybe not get one at all. Could you please give me some quick feedback here.
Just tell them to send the new one and once you have it, you send the other one back or just keep the “broken” one
As long as they certify they can give you the bottle you ordered, I would send it back
I would keep the bottle and split it. They actually might have some reserve even if it’s sold out, they always keep strategic stock. But personnaly I wouldn’t bother…
I’d do exactly the same. No room for compromise — anything else is unacceptable.
I agree with Jörg, anything else is unacceptable! Unless they guarantee in writing that you’ll get a new one.
I’ve passed that on to LMDW now. Curious to see what they say. It’s just annoying.
Still no response from LMDW, I haven’t received the promised return label yet, and there’s been no reaction to my inquiry. I’m going to split the bottle now so the split goes through. Hope that’s okay with everyone. But in the future, I’ll think carefully about whether I’ll continue using LMDW regularly…
Damn embarrassing and unprofessional move on LMDW’s part. They’d get a 1* rating for something like this on all the usual platforms…
Hope there’s the right stuff in it.
Yeah, I hope so too. But honestly, I’m just done writing email after email and getting upset every single time.
They reported it just now, apologized, and assured me that I would receive a new bottle and not just a label stuck on it. I’m going to tell them to send me the new bottle and, as an apology, they can also send back the newly relabeled bottle, of course with an appropriate discount. Let’s see what they say ![]()
Nothing new, no return label. I’m just going to split the bottle and call it a day. Not worth the hassle for me.
