genau das ist das problem, nur der jahrgang ist älter. aber vielleicht finde ich ja nochmal einen momentan 53 jährigen rum. einen 50 jährigen whisky hatte ich vor ein paar jahren schon mal gefunden. da paßte es auch von meinen damaligen lebensjahren. manchmal ist es dann auch nicht gut so früh geboren zu sein, jedenfalls wenn man gleichaltrigen alkohol sucht 🤣. 😂 . ---

BELLAMY’S RESERVE bringt einen 1994er Enmore raus. - 05/1994 - 09/2021 27 Jahre kontinentale Reifung - Mark MER\* Pot Still - 46,2% (Fassstärke) UVP 259€ Das Mark hab ich nich nie gehört und der Abfüller ist mir irgendwie suspekt, aber die Rahmendaten klingen gut. ---

Aha. Interessant, dass MER auch im “Crowdsourcing Guyana Marks” Thread nicht auftaucht. Oder ich habs überlesen. Könnte aber gemäß der Logik der “ME…” Marks dann “Main Enmore REV” oder “Main Enmore Rum”(?) heißen. Ersteres wäre ja eigentlich doppelt gemoppelt, sofern REV tatsächlich für “Rum Enmore Versailles” steht 🤔 ---

Ich finde die Bilder irreführend. “Aged in…” bedeutet für mich, der Stoff hat sein gesamtes Fass-Dasein in diesem Fass verbracht. Aber der Kram ist natürlich wieder nur gefinished. Beziehungsweise “first refined through our signature double-ageing process, they are then finished with a third stage of maturation” - wie es die Marketingabteilung beschreibt. Also sogar durch 3 Fässer gewandert. Es sollte “Finished in…” heißen. Unterm Strich ziemlich lahme Auswahl. Alles irgendwie schon dagewesen, außer dass die Finishes teilweise noch abgedrehter sind. Wo ist Réunion? Wo ist St. Lucia? Wo ist Guyana? Die Range wird schmaler und Finishes verrückter. Schon lange nix mehr von Plantation gekauft, und das wird sich wohl auch mit diesem Release nicht ändern 🙄 ---

Die One Time Limited aus diesem und dem letzten Jahr waren gut. Jamaika, Barbados mit gutem PLV. Trinidad, will ich vielleicht noch probieren. ---

Stimmt, das bezog sich auch eher auf die “Single Cask” Serie. Die One Time Serie ist OK. PLV mäßig teilweise sogar stark. Vom Jamaika hab ich auch ne Pulle im Regal 😅 ---

ich bin schon gespannt auf die beiden neuen aus der Savanna TWIE (‚Welle‘ und ‚Baum‘). Weiß einer, ob es dieses Jahr noch einen Schwung von The Rum Cask gibt? Da gab es außer dem 1997er PM fast nichts dieses Jahr. Dabei sind das immer super PLV Rums. ---

Ich habe auf dem Rumfest am Kirsch-Stand den Mhobe Strand 151 High Ester probiert und er hat mir sehr gefallen! Er sollte “innerhalb von 14 Tagen” verfügbar sein war die Auskunft. Naja, die Zeit ist rum und ich habe nochmal direkt bei Kirsch Import nachgefragt. Leider habe ich keine genauere Aussage als “der Rum sollte demnächst kommen” erhalten - also Augen auf! ---
