„ Im Jahr 2020 wagte die im bewusst eher kleinen Stil vorgehende Destillerie sich erstmals an die Herstellung von Rum aus Deutschland. In jenem Jahr wurde nicht nur der klare KRUM White Rum als nicht gereifter, weißer Rum mit typisch karibischem Charakter abgefüllt, sondern man begann auch erstmals, die eigenen Destillate in Holzfässern zu lagern. Für die Produktion wird [Melasse](https://www.rumundco.de/magazin/rum-aus-melasse-der-allseits-beliebte-klassiker/) aus ohne Chemikalien angebautem [Zuckerrohr](https://www.rumundco.de/magazin/das-a-und-o-fuer-rum-zuckerrohr/) aus Paraguay verwendet.“ ---

Puh, Likör, Gin und Rum als Kerngeschäft macht schon mal skeptisch. Melasse aus Paraguay - keine Ahnung. Aber “bester Rum der Welt unter 5 Jahren” laut Urteil einer “Londoner Jury”. Ist halt alles sehr nebulös und unpräzise gehalten. Aber hey, kann man erst beurteilen, nachdem man probiert hat. ---

Sebastian hat ein neues Release angekündigt, war schon auf dem GRF zu sehen. Hat jemand die Gelegenheit wahrnehmen können und probiert? Hat jemand Details zu dem Finish? Hi, hab ich auf dem GRF probiert und ich gebe dir Recht, es fehlt etwas an wums. Ansonsten eine schöne Abfüllung. Ein Gaumenschmeichler. Ich bin eher auf seinen 18y Virgin Oak in Fassstärke gespannt. Hoffe die kommt bald. Das ist richtig gut. PS: Schreib Ihn bei Interesse doch mal an ob es die Tres Barriles Abfüllung auch in Fassstärke gibt. Evtl. auch als 20cl Flasche erhältlich. ---

Alles nur in Trinkstärke verfügbar, die Fassstärke ist nach eigener Aussage von einem Käufer aus Übersee gekauft worden. Es soll aber ein neues Fass im November abgefüllt werden, evtl kann ich eine Flasche in Fassstärke bekommen. Preis und ABV hab ich angefragt. Jemand ggf Interesse an einem Split? ---

RumClub bringt einen deutschen Rum von Simons Feinbrennerei mit 11 Jahren. Der Rum wurde erst in einem Rotweinfass, dann in einem Sherryfass und anschließend nochmal in einem TDL-Fass gelagert/gefinisht. A big part of the series will be sold in Asia. Some set could be reserved before launch if someone is interessted (MP). I’m not from Distilia, I’m just passing the info 😅 (1300€ for the set) ---
