Hi RumX community, last year’s Savanna Masterclass led to more than a tasting. Your notes that evening helped make the [17-year RumX release](https://community.rumx.com/t/our-community-just-unlocked-one-of-savannas-finest-casks/29597) happen. So we’re doing it again. **The details** - **When:** 25 September 2026, 7:30 pm CET (UTC+1). The eve of Whisky Live Paris. - **Where:** Online via Google Meet, in English. - **Host:** Samuel Pitarch, the head behind Savanna. Same as last year. - **Set:** 7 Savanna rums at 2 cl each, shipped to you before the call. - **Seats:** 45, first come, first served. Samuel will talk about the distillery, the casks and the decisions behind the blends. Bring your questions. Last year they went well past the official end. **A small add-on before we start 💥** Your set contains one extra 1 cl unreleased cask sample. A potential RumX community bottling from a different distillery. Not Savanna. I’m keeping the name to myself for now. We meet at 7 pm, half an hour before the Masterclass, taste it together, and those of you on the call decide whether it becomes a RumX co-bottling. **19.99 € per set, plus shipping** Last year the sets were free and I bottled and packed everything myself. That doesn’t scale. This time [Armagnac.de](http://Armagnac.de?utm_source=rumx&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=rumx-forum) handles the samples and the packing. Together with Savanna and [Armagnac.de](http://Armagnac.de?utm_source=rumx&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=rumx-forum) we got the set down to 19.99 €. 7 Savanna rums plus the extra. For what’s in the box, I think that’s more than fair. Shipping within the EU is added at checkout. **Sets are live now on the RumX marketplace:** → [Savanna RumX Masterclass 2…(Whisky Live Paris Warmup) | RumX](https://rumx.com/en/rums/26721/) One request: only buy a set if you can be on the call on 25 September from 7 pm CET. Looking forward to it. Oliver 🥃 ---

Thanks for the info. That’s a nice thing once again. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it, so I’m skipping this and hoping everyone has a great round with a full number of participants 🥃 have fun 🙂 Edit. I ended up ordering it after all since it was available for so long… Great selection. Unfortunately I wasn’t quite up for listening, and trying the RX sample was enough for me. Thank you very much for that @Oliver ---

Thanks for deleting the post in the Whisky Live 2026 thread 😅 Nobody could have known. Small error though, the title mentions 25 Oct and the text says 25 Sep. Just so there’s no confusion 😉 ---

Damn, I’d love to participate but Whisky Live Warsaw already starts on the 25th of September and closes at 10pm 😕 Now I just have to look forward to the online tasting organised by @Lunulata ! ---

Wow, absolutely awesome, thanks for the opportunity! I ordered two sets for @Thunderbird & me, a great reason for a personal meetup to enjoy and try them together 🤗 ---

I’m really torn… The offer is great and I had a lot of fun last time… But since I don’t really have the Savanna profile in my top 3, I’ll let someone else have the spot. Have fun and thanks for the offer 👍✌ PS: 7:00 p.m. is back to absolute kids’ evening routine time with dinner, bathing, grumpy tired tantrums, etc… It’s hard to enjoy and listen at that time 🤣🤣🤣 ---

I’m also a bit sad that I can’t take part and experience something like this with you. That said, I’m confident you’ll discover an exciting bottling for the community there. 🙏 ---

No. We did that back then. But that noticeably reduces participation rates during the masterclass. However, the primary goal is active exchange between all participants and the masterclass host. That’s why it’s only a live experience. ☺🥃 ---
