Was ist das…? Kann man quasi blind Samples erwerben und dann eine Art Rätsel mitmachen? Oder geht das nur, wenn man so ein Set gewonnen hat? ---

Ist der thread für alle die das sample Set erworben haben. Die können hier ab heute und in den nächsten Tagen munter rätseln welche Rarität sich versteckt hat. Immer ganz interessant was für Vermutungen bei raus kommen 😄 ---

Gut, ich fange an und blamiere mich zuerst 😃 Nase: Leder, Vanille, Holz, dunkelrote Früchte, Menthol/Minze, gefühlt etwas Caroni-Dirt, Karamell Gaumen: Fruchtig, Holz, Leder, Alkohol kaum spürbar, Toffee, kandierte Banane Abgang: Menthol, Holz, Vanille Finde ich schwer. Ich stecke den nach Guyana zu DDL. Könnte ein Diamond Ende Neunziger sein, wobei der zu “frisch” wäre. ABV schätze ich um die 55-60. Skeldon vielleicht? Ich bleibe bei Guyana, schließe aber Barbados nicht ganz aus. Werde mir dann heute Abend vor die Stirn hauen 😃 Für mich eine 88/100 ---

So, ich habe jetzt auch mal eingeschenkt und der Rum atmet jetzt bereits circa 30 Minuten. Von der Nase her bin Ich auch bei Guyana. Alkohol schön eingebunden, Leder, Holz, Tabak, Frucht und Trockenfrüchte sowie etwas Dörrpflaume sowie etwas melassige Würzigkeit. Jetzt erst mal probieren … ---

Guyana I suppose. PM ? Nose : Woody, light spices, demerara sugar, caramel, light leather, complex, orange? Taste : caramel, Wood, bitter, astringent, Licorice, menthol, + 1 unknown heavy thing 😃 End : long, spices, bitter % alcohol : 53 ? NB : on vacation, not my regular tasting glass ---

Hach ja, Blindverkostungen… Guyana würde ich aber mitgehen. Schmeckt für mich wie Port Mourant mit Melasse-Einschlag. Vielleicht [RX1083](https://rumx.com/en/rums/1083/)? Ich hab keine Ahnung 🤪 Edit: Können wir die Auflösung für kommende Tage auf 21:30 setzen? Ich hab das Gefühl im Sommer kommt man erst etwas später zur Ruhe. ---

Hab noch einen kleinen Schluck im Glas und den hebe ich mir für die Auflösung auf 😉 Am Gaumen hat sich Guyana bestätigt aber ich komme auf keinen grünen Zweig für eine genauere Zuordnung. Ein Blend könnte also wahrscheinlich sein. Keine Ahnung, was altes mit circa 55% … meine Zwischendrin auch immer wieder eine Versailles Komponente zu schmecken … ---
