Apropos Blend: Spiele gerade mit meiner Band einen neuen Song namens “Blender” ein. 🤟🤟 (Es geht natürlich nicht um einen Blend Master, sondern um einen Menschen, der einem den schönen Schein für das Sein vorgaukelt 😜.) ---

The bottle was just opened. No doubt it’s a 2001 TDL. Very good but I would like to have more time to taste it. At first taste, it was REALLY cool. ---

Wir hatten gestern Abend mal wieder einen schönen Abend bei mir, zusammen mit @mto75 und @Skyfly , sowie zwei Kumpels von mir. Dabei stand Rhum Agricole im Fokus. Da wir nicht viele Einsteigersorten da hatten, sind wir recht schnell über den Saint James XO [RX9931](https://rumx.com/en/rums/9931/) zu den höherwertigen Sorten gekommen. Ich liste mal einige Highlights auf, alles aufzuzählen bekomme ich nicht mehr hin. Und zu 5. gehen natürlich auch andere Mengen weg als allein oder zu zweit, daher wurden recht viele kleinere Samples auch gefinished. Bei den Agricoles hat die komplette Truppe der HERRline von Swell beeindruckt. Für mich gab es daneben aber natürlich noch die erwartbaren Neisson XO und Bielle 2005 Highlights. Preisleistungssieger für viele war auch der Karukera 2008. Rhums dieser Destillerie sind bei vielen ja recht unbekannt, was mich immer wieder erstaunt. Für mich ein toller Stil, der definitiv mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient und auch in mittleren Preislagen gut erhältlich ist.
