Ergänzung. Gerade von Sam gelernt dass dieses Release das einzige Fass mit dem HES Mark ist. Sprich gleiche Fermentation wie HERR, nur auf der Savalle Still gebrannt. Crazy selten… ---

Update: Nach Rücksprache mit dem Abfüller Gourmet Pool hat er nochmal Recherche beim Broker betrieben mit folgendem, bestätigten Ergebnis: Es handelt sich tatsächlich um ein Destillat aus der Wooden Coffey Still. Was dies tatsächlich zu einer kleinen Sensation macht! Erklärt für mich auch in gewisser Hinsicht die Eleganz dieser Abfüllung.. ---

Das klingt gut, aber ich bin sehr skeptisch, ob das stimmt. Es gibt viele Abfüllungen, bei denen vermutlich auch die Broker Info nicht stimmt. Die 1992er werden wiederholt als Wooden Coffey Still angeboten. Dabei ist inzwischen bestätigt, dass der MEC ein gefärbter AW ist. Die 2004er Versailles (MDXC) werden häufig auch als Wooden Coffey Still angeboten, dabei sind sie inzwischen auch praktisch nachweislich als Versailles bestimmt. Ich halte es für sehr, sehr viel unwahrscheinlicher, dass es tatsächlich zwei so ähnliche Batches aus dem selben Jahr gibt, als dass hier der Broker selbst nicht sicher weiß, was er schreibt. Der ABV von um die 50 passt auch perfekt zu allen anderen Releases aus dem batch. Edit. ich sehe gerade, dass laut gourmet pool Homepage der ABV 65,40% betragen soll. Bei RX ist er mit 49,6% geführt. Wäre es der 65er wäre ich sehr erstaunt und würde meine Einschätzung revidieren. Editedit. Es wäre sehr interessant zu wissen, was der Broker hier als Mark angibt. Wenn er es auch als MEC verkauft ist es ein MEC wie alle anderen m.E. Editeditedit. Das Foto von Rob sagt, 49er ABV wie in der RX DB ---
