I’ve switched the referral link in the meantime. I’ve each registered 4 referrals with my two accounts. Currently, the referral link/code from @AlSting is shown in my posts.
The voucher only works for a first order. If you’ve already made a purchase with the account, you’d need to create a new one.
Otherwise, maybe someone else could post their referral link/code here.
You can find it in your customer account, even if you haven’t placed an order yet:
@AlSting has now also collected 3 referrals. I wouldn’t completely rule out that you can collect more than 3x20€ as a referrer, contrary to the shop’s description, but in the spirit of community welfare, we shouldn’t collect even more referrals on the 3 already posted referral links/codes for now.
Once you’ve created an account, you can post your referral links here. I’ll edit the first one posted here into my posts. Please let me know when you’ve collected 3 referrals. (simply edit the post in which you mentioned the link/code accordingly)
Bremer Weinkontor is part of the Schlumberger Group, essentially their B2C distribution channel.
Schlumberger is responsible for the German distribution of Neisson.
Added to this: Schlumberger separated from 40 suppliers in February 2026 to streamline their product range.
The fact that they now only carry two of the previously eight Neisson varieties and both have been massively reduced in price suggests a (quiet) break with Neisson and a clearance sale of remaining inventory.
I can absolutely understand and confirm what the article says. We haven’t dropped quite as many brands, but we’re also tightening our assortment enormously right now and the market has changed dramatically…
It sounds like the fire sale of Trois Rivières by Campari and the end of Neisson’s distribution in Germany by the Schlumberger Group are not isolated cases, but rather parts of a larger puzzle: declining spirits demand is affecting not just whisky and gin, but also rum — previously considered a growth segment — as well as rhum agricole, which had been identified as a particularly niche growth driver.
And probably many other smaller brands and segments too.
It’s a shame!
Question 1: Should we expect a declining range of offerings in the future, or is this just healthy brand consolidation after years of growing diversity?
Question 2: Can we expect more discount clearance campaigns comparable to the current Neisson blancs or Renegade Rums at Whic from some time ago by year’s end? Or might those already be done?
Question 3: In such cases of (even tacit) ending of national distribution, is a final clearance date usually agreed upon (e.g., year-end) to leave the market open for the next national brand distributor? Or is it likely that Schlumberger holds on to some pallets in their cellars for years and sells them off gradually?
Are there industry-standard arrangements for this?
Interested bonus question: If Perolta were to conduct similar clearance campaigns for rum or related products (such as Batavia Arrack), whether through specialist retailers like Whic, Rumpiraten, etc., or direct B2C — could we hope for expert tips here?
At least for renowned brands like Neisson, it would be a shame to miss this opportunity and have to source the varieties from France for years after the clearance because there’s no German distribution anymore.
If anyone is interested, the Caroni Paradise #8 (RX15921) is on discount on Rhumattitude, with an additional 20% discount with the private sales code, bringing it down from €3290 to €2632 (compared to €2901 in the RX shop). I can share the code if anyone wants it.
The Foursquare ECS Equidem is currently available for €122 at Millésima. Yesterday it was even available for €105, but right after my purchase the price went up. I think €122 will still be a good deal for many.
We’re currently doing a lot of rearranging in the warehouse. Unfortunately, there were a few casualties… Some slipcovers from Steffen’s Caroni books were damaged. So we’re clearing out these defective copies for €99 instead of €299.
PS: If anyone needs something to top up their collection: As of today, our new Armagnac.de bottling is available for pre-order - Pomès-Pébérère 1986!
