Ja ein Infinity Ballon 🤣🤣 aber noch nicht probiert . Habe da in den Letzten 3 Jahren immer wieder Sampl rein … bestimmt 800-1000 Stück . 15L sind es … von Caroni bis alte Zacapa ist alles drin … das steht schon lange im Keller habs jetzt mal in mein Büro gestellt und werde es mal probieren 😅😅 ---

## RUM HAUL JAMAICA 2026 Hab den Februar wieder auf Jamaika verbracht, wohl wissend, dass vieles anders sein würde als in den Jahren zuvor, doch dazu ggf. an anderer Stelle mehr. Nur soviel: ich betrauere einzig den Tag meiner Heimreise. Jamaikaner sind klasse! ### Appleton Estate Spanish Sherry Cask Collection Initial in der Hoffnung den „Wray & Nephew 43%“ irgendwo finden zu können, ist mir statt dessen der **Appleton Estate Spanish Sherry Cask Collection** über den Weg gelaufen, den ich für umgerechnet 30 € (5600 Jam$) sogar in dem kleinen Kiosk meines Vetrauens bekommen habe. In den größeren Supermärkten (HiLo, CountryStore) war der im Februar noch nirgends gelistet. ![IMG_0465](https://community.rum-x.com/uploads/default/original/3X/f/6/f6dad6c497f0362073a80da6be1bc384c0efd940.jpeg) ### Overproofs für Re-Tastings In den gößeren Supermärkten bin ich in diesem Jahr nur bzgl. einiger Flasks (Flachmänner) fündig geworden, die ich als Mitbringsel für Freunde und als Quelle für qualifizierte Re-Tastings eingesammelt habe. ![IMG_0532](https://community.rum-x.com/uploads/default/original/3X/7/8/7886eaa4c41b5f080f732063fc732484f573470e.jpeg) ### Souvenirs aus Pappe & Zucker Nachdem ich mich – durch Einkäufe und ein T-Shirt – als Rum-Nerd geoutet hatte, durfte ich auch leere Versandkartons von Appleton, W&N und Red Stripe als Deko mitnehmen. Der Zucker von Worthy Park wurde bereits heute schon zur Hälfte zu einem **Jamaican Bananabread** verbacken. Bananen sind dort übrigens gerade außergewöhnlich rar und teuer … auch eine Folge des Hurricanes. ![IMG_0534](https://community.rum-x.com/uploads/default/original/3X/0/e/0e4a1365fa88d820a4e3e4acd505b04ac8643abc.jpeg) ![IMG_0535](https://community.rum-x.com/uploads/default/original/3X/f/f/ff624cbfc3ac7b2afb2c6bbaaf4d6ec9a42a00fa.jpeg) _„Worthy Park Estate Cane Sugar“ gibt es in nahezu allen großen und kleinen Supermärkten in verschiedenen Größen._ ### Touristen-Nepp Vom Abfüller und Brauer „Royal Jamaican“ werden zahlreiche Marken Rum und Bier angeboten, die in zugegbebenermaßen tw. sehr dekorativen Flaschen daherkommen. Zumindest die Rums schmecken jedoch sämtlich wie ansonsten unvermarktbare Destillerie-Reste (Quelle wird nicht genannt), wie ich durch ein Zwangstasting eines verzweifelten Shop-Betreibers herausfinden durfte. Für meinen Nachbarn, der leichtsinnigerweise im Februar das Schneeschippen für mich übernommen hatte, habe ich aus Mitleid und schlechtem Gewissen eine Totenschädelflasche „Skullery Spiced“ 400 ml eingepackt. Spätestens zu Himmelfahrt werden wir gemeinsam herausfinden, was das Zeug kann. Achtung: Platz im Handgepäck lassen. ---
