One of my favorite »easy not 37 ingredients« Tiki drinks is the Donga Punch! It’s way more amazing when it’s fresh-pressed pink grapefruit juice and homemade cinnamon syrup! 😋🍊

Pur clearly has the edge over Baie des Trésors for me. Let’s see who can convince more with the Ti-Punch 🙂

I also prefer Baie des Trésors to Neisson in Ti-Punch.
As long as my order goes through with Bremer Weinkolleg, both will soon get to compete against the Bio Neisson 2022 🙂

The banana note fits damn well in the drink.

I completely agree and urgently need to stock up (on Feller banana)

😋😋😋😋

Edit: the Mammoth Tusk Cocktail is really a 10/10 for me. I think the chinola passion fruit comes through really well here. Falernum and Chartreuse bring a lot of depth. Plus the sweetness from the juice and almond syrup. Divine 😇

I think I’ve found a new favorite cocktail for myself here and warmly recommend it to all of you.

What’s your recipe? 🙂 really great with Chinola and Seven Keys and also my favorite juice maker Van Nahmen. You don’t often find their pineapple juice!

Followed Chad Austin’s recipe from Minimalist Tiki. Like @cedric, I replaced part of the Agricole with Feller Banana. For me, a third. You can definitely adjust the exact blend and which Agricole you use. I had the HSE blanc 50.

I then supplemented the Chinola Passion Fruit with a bit of sugar syrup to get closer to the original recipe with syrup. But you can definitely drink it very well without it too.

And I used Angostura instead of Peychaud Bitters. That’s it. 🍹

And the Van Nahmen pineapple juice is fortunately well available at my local Rewe and I’m very happy with the juice quality.

I guess I’ll have to test that one too. Seems like an interesting recipe. No idea why I missed it while flipping through the Minimalist Tiki 🤔

Looks really good 😉

That actually surprises me. The cocktail is really well-known beyond the book, and deservedly so 😅

It’s genuinely a brilliant drink!

I can also highly recommend the [RX6324](https://rumx.com/en/rums/6324/), just maybe not necessarily as a first attempt.

That definitely changes the drink quite a bit.

I’d also be careful with the amount of lime juice. Depending on the ratio of the syrups and choice of falernum, that can also turn out somewhat sour (to my taste) with the 30 ml.

The JDT from the original recipe is considerably sweeter than, for example, the Seven Keys which I use nowadays.

Seven Keys doesn’t have lime, while others do, so you’d obviously need to adjust for that.

I really like it. I’ve opened a bottle and have 2 in reserve, my favorite daiquiri rum for when it’s going to be wild rather than laid-back. But I’ll probably try it first with a Neisson Blanc or Savanna Creol 52. As for Falernum, I have Intense and Seven Keys to choose from.

Mint was missing and the presentation could use some work, but for a first attempt I think it turned out pretty good. Definitely a drink with potential 😋

In my case it was a bit too sweet. A little more acidity would have been better. Followed the recipe exactly from the Minimalist Tiki.
