Of course, there are several for outside visitors, from J.M, to Saint James and Clement, and some smaller ones also…

Shortly 😄:
Neisson (Le Carbet): Known for its iconic “Zepol’Karé” bottle, founded in 1932.
Habitation Clément (Le François): A famous former sugar mill turned distillery (1887) featuring botanical gardens and creole architecture.
Saint-James (Sainte-Marie): One of the oldest (1765) and largest producers with a dedicated rum museum.
Rhum J.M (Macouba): Located in the north, known for using water from Mount Pelée.
Maison La Mauny (Rivière-Pilote): Features a “Ti Train” tour through the distillery and plantations.
Braud & Quennesson (Le Marin): Revived in 2018 at the Habitation Grand Fonds, offering tours in the south.
Distillerie A1710 (Le François): Features a new, modern winery inaugurated in February 2024.
Habitation Beauséjour (HBS) (Grand’Rivière): A newer producer established in 2019 using estate-grown cane.

I would choose to visit the distillery or distilleries that you like most instead of the one(s) that might have an exclusive distillery only bottling.

If you’re planning distillery visits: the [Martinique overview](https://rumx.com/en/countries/martinique/?utm_source=rumx&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=rumx-forum) lists which rums come from which distillery. Handy for building a tasting route. Enjoy the trip, it’s rhum agricole heartland. 🥃

Its quite a bit late, but perhaps interesting for later visitors as well:
The sugar factory Sucrerie Le Galion might be worth a visit.
Sugar is their main product; rum is their byproduct, made of melasse.
As far as I know Le Galion in one of only two distilleries producing Rhum Grand Arome - the other one beeing Savanna at La Reunion (see [Savanna Lontan](https://rumx.com/de/rums/13079/savanna-lontan-575-grand-arome/?utm_source=rumx&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=rumx-forum))
They introduce it on their [homepage](https://legalion.eu/grand-arome/?utm_source=rumx&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=rumx-forum), even with a poster for their own brand of Grand Arome Le Galion 43%:

 ![V4-Publicité-Grand-Arôme-Le-Galion-210x297-2018](https://community.rumx.com/uploads/default/original/3X/3/7/379192e79000bf7dd54e88ee58d280baf0674b2b.webp)

Nevertheless, this Rum bottled by the manufacturer is really hard to find, as they seem to sell nearly all of their Rhum Grand Arome as Bulk the Scheer and others, leaving the main bottling to independent bottlers.

I found just one single review of the manufacturers bottling [Galion Grand Arome 43%](https://rumx.com/de/rums/6593/le-galion-le-galion-rhum-grand-arome/?utm_source=rumx&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=rumx-forum), and it sounds great: [https://thelonecaner.com/r0569/](https://thelonecaner.com/r0569/?utm_source=rumx&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=rumx-forum)
But I cannot find any one shop offering it and just 4 ratings [of the Rum at Rum-X](https://rumx.com/de/rums/6593/le-galion-le-galion-rhum-grand-arome/?utm_source=rumx&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=rumx-forum) , so is seems to bee quite rare. Rum is just a byproduct for them, apparently not worth building a real brand around.

So I suppose you get it (almost) only by visiting the manufacturer, la Sucrerie Le Galion.

PS: If you (or anyone else) should make a split of a bottle of it I am interested in a sample!
