Was hat es eigentlich mit dem “Last” in Last Ward auf sich? Dass es sich auf Frank Ward bezieht, ok. Aber schon 3 mal “der letzte” ist doch albern, oder? 🤔 ---

Der Letzte mit dem Label und dann ändert sich wieder die Farbe vom Label? Oder der letzte den er von dem Jahrgang abfüllt oder wie auch immer 😅 Vielleicht auch nur ein running gag den wir nicht verstehen… Eventuell sein Spitznahme, Frank, du bist echt das Letzte, den Rum immer nackig abzufüllen, wer weiß das schon 😉 ---

Grundsätzlich etwas albern… aber sollte halt auf die letzten Fässer von Frank Ward hinweisen. Vielleicht wäre “Almost the Last” oder “Maybe the Last” präziser gewesen. War auch überrascht das noch ein 2007 raus gekommen ist. 😂 ---

Ward war der letzte seines Namens, danach hieß nie wieder jemand „Ward“….weltweit. Daher „Last Ward“ 😉 ---

As far as I know it is bottled from the Last barrels available made in the Mount Gilboa style of Frank Ward. As rightfully mentioned, it is most likely as with Caroni: we might see some more releases pop up. Alternatively: your bottle was really the last bottle of this stuff. Chances are 50/50. Either it is like that, or it is not. ---
