The script jumped on at midnight and picked 10 lucky winners out of the 2,545 (wow! 🤯🚀) tickets. The winners will be notified via email today. 🍀🥃 For those who can’t wait, I’m also spoiling the winners: > **Congratulations to all the lucky ones! 🎉🥃🥳** > > Gin & Bricks > HenryL > Mirco > Basti > TheRhumhoe > Daniel Sprenger > Sylvain44 > SaibotZtar > Tim > Serge A **huge thank you** goes out to all RumX community members who participated in this event and celebrated the 100,000th review with us. You are awesome! 🤩🥃 **Fantastic news for all of you who unfortunately didn’t get drawn:** As the event was so appreciated by the community, we have decided to organize an event in the same format in March as well. An official announcement will be coming later today, including unveiling the prizes. 😍🥃 Thank you for making the RumX Community a special place! ---

A very big thank you from Canada! I can’t wait to try those rums when I‘m back. Didn’t expect to win with just half a month of tasting. 😁 ---

Each tasting shared had a 0.04% chance of winning. So every ticket matters. 🤓🍀 ---

> [@Oliver](#): > > Each tasting shared had a 0.04% chance of winning. That doesn’t seem right. There were 2500 tastings, but the drawing was 10 times, and each time with less “competition” due to all tickets from previous draw winners removed. 🤓 Edit: Congrats to the winners! Always amazing to see how randomness works. Only few of the top 10 in the list won… and of course he who wrote the script also won 😜 😜 😜 ---

True, my calculation was indeed too superficial. Who can find a statistics book in the bookshelf and calculate the exact probability? 🤓 ---

Hooray, thank you! I am very happy – regardless of the stochastic circumstances 😂 ---

> [@Oliver](#): > > exact probability Not an easy task since the population of consecutive draws doesn’t shrink evenly (depending on who was drawn previously you remove between 1 to 137 from the pot). > [@Oliver](#): > > every ticket matters. Let’s just keep it at that 😅 ---

I think only numerical simulation can help… can you jout run the lottery several hundreds times more and just calculate the odds? PS don’t forget to issue samples each time, otherwise it’s not realistic 😉 ---
