El Dorado 12, but better

Whenever I have El Dorado 12 in my glass, I always ask myself: is there a better one out there? I particularly enjoy the dark fruit notes, but overall I find them too subtle.

Since DDL has an seemingly endless repertoire, I’m turning to the experts among you. Which DDL should I try?

And since we’re talking about DDL, please no bottles that cost the price of a small car.

Definitely try the El Dorado 15 and 21. Pusser’s gunpowder proof is a good entry point into Guyana but I wouldn’t say it leans much towards dried fruits. What I would avoid, are the single stills from El Dorado at 40% ABV, they are very expensive for what they are.

Is the El Dorado 15 more intense in flavor then?

I’ll check out the video, thanks for the tip. That’s quite a coincidence!

I cannot recommend the 21y because it shoots up in price, but barely in quality compared to the 15y. The 15y is indeed one of the best!
