4.12.: Meine Nase ist begeistert. Intensive Aromen, deutlicher Lagerungscharakter, ausgewogene, komplexe Vielfalt. Ein Melasserum, mit seiner Aromenintensivtät wahrscheinlich Potstill, der durch die Lagerung an Vielfalt und Komplexität deutlich gewonnen hat. Ich fühle mich an den Rum vom 1. Dezember erinnert, aber deutlich älter, schwerer und komplexer. Mund: Hui, der ist stark. Ich tippe auf Navy strength oder Fassstärke, mit entsprechender Schärfe. Große Aromenvielfalt, die ich aber nicht im Detail aufschlüsseln kann. Ich bilde mir ein, den angeblich für Australien typischen Eukalyptus zu finden, aber das kann auch eine gewünschte Selbsttäuschung sein. Wenn “Rum 1” 10 Jahre alt war (was mich nach wie vor überrascht), dann ist dieser Rum noch ein Stück älter. Unter gleichen Lagerbedingungen sind 15 Jahre oder mehr möglich. Ein sehr schöner Rum, wenn auch fast etwas zu stark und schwer für mich. Bisherige Favoriten: Rum 1 war eher “daily sipper”, der hier fordert mehr aktive Aufmerksamkeit ein. @TheDunderHut : Könntest du bitte im Eingangsposting (oder in deinem Eingangsposting der Mails) bitte das Akdventskalender-Ratespiel - Googledoc verlinken? Es war natürlich wieder nicht der Rum den ich in Sinn hatte, aber egal, bis jetzt für mich der Beste, wobei mich die RX Wertung mit mageren 7,7 Punkten doch sehr überrascht.🤔 Gibt es diesen Tropfen noch zu kaufen? Da würde ich ne Flasche nehmen.😋 ---

Endlich back home. So Nummer 5 kommt fruchtig süß in der Nase hätte Auf irgendwas von Oliver & Oliver getippt, wenn ich das Motto vom Kalender nicht kennen würde. Im Mund dann zwar passend süß aber auch alkoholisch. Bin super gespannt ---

In der Nase Sherry süße und leichte Bitterkeit. Er riecht schon süß. Am Gaumen spüre ich einen gezuckerten Rum , außer Sherry kommt wenig Körper. Alkohol nicht ganz gut eingebunden. Da komme ich direkt auf Plantation. Dennoch schmeckt er mir ganz gut heute, 7,7. Ich tippe auf den 12yo 45,3% beenleigh Sherry Finish. #24167. Weil die Schwester Fässer/Abfüllungen anscheinend ungezuckert sind. ---
