Has anyone got experience with Asbach 8 Year? I’m looking for a reasonably priced cognac alternative for mixing and I was wondering if it would work for that. ---

If anything, Asbach then the 21-year is actually quite good, but honestly there are plenty of great cognacs and armagnacs and brandies that won’t break the bank if you avoid the big brands… Asbach 8 is decent enough for cocktails but nothing more than that.
