Ich mache mal den Anfang. Heute ist ein Profil zu erkennen, das deutlich von einer Vanille-artigen Süße dominiert wird. Daneben merklicher Fasseinfluss, ich würde auf längere kontinentale Reifung tippen (\>12 Jahre?). Es ist kein Profil, mit dem ich sehr vertraut bin, wohl auch, weil es mir nicht sonderlich zusagt, der vanillige Süßeton ist einfach zu dominant und verleiht dem Rum etwas Klebriges, vor allem im Abgang. Stärke könnte durchaus im Bereich 60% liegen, Alkohol ist nicht schlecht integriert. Mit einer konkreteren Einordnung tue ich mich mangels ähnlicher Referenzen schwer, ich könnte mir aber eher einen „Outsider“ wie Privateer, Belize o.Ä. vorstellen. Für mich auf jeden Fall der schwächste Rum bisher, entspricht gar nicht meinen Präferenzen. Ich bin gespannt… ---

Heute ist mal der spanische Stil dran. Da mir da die ausgeprägte Sensorik fehlt, um das Land zu identifizieren sag ich mal, dass es der Ecudaorianer von Nobilis ist. ---

Puh die Nase kommt mir direkt bekannt vor, aber ich komm nicht drauf. Viel Vanille, Holz, Röstaromen, Datteln und etwas Schinken. Am Gaumen sehr süß und noch mehr Vanille. Ein paar Rosinen und die Datteln von oben und einiges an Holz. Am Ende warm, Vanille, süßlich, kandierter Ingwer. Der Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden. Nicht sonderlich komplex, aber ausbalanciert und das was er macht, macht er sehr gut 🙂 Ich überlege mal weiter… ---

Ordentlich Vanille und brauner Zucker in der Nase. Eindeutig spanische Richtung. Auch einiges an Kakao. Am Gaumen dann noch etwas Zitrusfrucht dabei. Nussig wird es auch. Rosinen schmeckt man auch raus. Den ABV würd ich auf etwa 60% schätzen. Vielleicht Nicaragua da gibt es doch guten Kakao. 🙂 Oder ein trockener DomRep? Schwierig. Würd aber bis hierher erstmal gute 82Punkte geben und bin gespannt. ---

Könnte auch ein verkannter Foursquare sein. Ich musste kurz an den [RX13561](https://rumx.com/en/rums/13561/) denken. Allerdings war beiden der Alkohol deutlich präsenter. Ich komm nicht drauf, ein leckerer daily sipper ist es aber 😉 ---

Viel Vanille, röstig, nussig, sirupartige, trockener Abgang, irgendwo mischt noch ein wenig Apfel, Kokossnuss und etwas Kaffee mit. Er ist recht foursquare-ig aber dennoch nicht ganz. Alkohol bringt noch eine gute schärfe mit. Ich bin bei RumDog und sage ebenfalls, dass es sich um einen English Harbour High Congener handelt 🤞🏼 ---

In der Nase recht klassisch mit Vanille und Süße, etwas kommt der Alkohol durch. Am Gaumen dann wieder Vanille und Holz, etwas Röstaromen. Mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser kommt ein wenig Orangenschale dazu. Der Abgang ist recht kurz. Netter Sipper, aber für mich kein Highlight. ---

Recht süß mit Vanille & Röstaromen, hintenraus ein wenig pfeffrig scharf. Alkohol ist spürbar, würde sagen 50%+ Destillerie oder Land kann ich leider nicht sagen, bin zu wenig vertraut mit dem Profil. ---

For me is the same call, a Spanish style rum. Not that familiar with this type, my guess would be on Dominican Republic, well aged, abv not more than 50%. ---

Nose: first smell reminds me of Barbados; (looks too golden to be FS original bottling) smells a bit like chocolate peanutbutter cookie but only in a faint way. Some caramel. Maybe some coconut? Vanilla and some baking spice. Whiff of honey. Taste: tastes light in ABV but full of flavor. Vanilla, toffee, caramel and slight coconut. Ends more peppery. For a moment my mind went to FdC but this is too good to be FdC, it has more character. I am convinced it is Spanish style now. I don’t have much experience with those so where do I go from here? Finish: that slight peppery burn continues in the finish and then dies out in some dryness with hints of chocolate and coconut. Now I am thinking of something Cuban. Conclusion: is this the Havana Club for Rum Show 23? Very enjoyable! Easy drinker but not simple. [RX16719](https://rumx.com/en/rums/16719/) is my guess ---

Fiji? 😯 I remember the SPD profile quite differently, would not have put it in that camp… maybe the first impression was tainted by the consensus by the other posters towards Spanish profile 🤔 ---
